Hey folks.
I'm happy to announce, that ardour 2.1 is now in the gutsy-backports repository. To access it, add the following line to your /etc/apt/sources.list file, and update.

deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ gutsy-backports universe

If you don't want any other backports, I would suggest installing ardour from backports, and then disabling/removing the above line.
