The have now run configure -enable-experimental, make and sudo make install.
But, for some reason calfjackhost still sees only the original few plugins.

PS: It has nothing to do with your trouble, but you should test sudo
checkinstall next
time, instead of sudo make install, if you won't build
a Debian package by other methods, checkinstall often works and you
don't need to do the packaging yourself.

"sudo checkinstall" says command not found
"sudo ldconfig" produces no output

It's not installed, but you don't need it, it's just a recommendation to
build a package instead of installing it without a package. It should be
available by Synaptic.
> "sudo ldconfig" produces no output
That's correct, "ldconfig
creates the necessary links and cache to the
most recent shared libraries", but without being verbose.
It could be that the links were missing and perhaps now it's ok. Is
EQ-12 available now?

Ralf

I at least got it, it is part of CALF-git for some time now and it works
OK for me...

No, for some reason only the original plugins are available. Did you use
the --enable-experimental option?

Ubuntu-Studio-users Digest, Vol 64, Issue 25
Hello Daniel.
Well, I would like to give you an example on social media and mailing list.
If you know the Ubuntu Testing Team (Nicholas Skaggs and QA team and Phill Whiteside mainly), they have started their QA Google+ and Facebook page. However, some people (take me, for example) doesn't have any social media, but then they still want to contribute to Ubuntu in Testing, or to receive support on Ubuntu Studio. So then the Testing Team assured that if you subscribe to the mailing list it's the best.
So we MAY set up one page for Google+, but then the mailing list will still be the major channel of communication. If you want a live communication, go to #ubuntustudio at irc.freenode.net.
Regards,
Howard Chan (smartboyhw @ Freenode)
Ubuntu Studio Team Member (for documentation, support and testing), Ubuntu Testcase Admins Team member, Ubuntu Testing Team Member.

It's not installed, but you don't need it, it's just a recommendation to
build a package instead of installing it without a package. It should be
available by Synaptic.

That's correct, "ldconfig
creates the necessary links and cache to the
most recent shared libraries", but without being verbose.
It could be that the links were missing and perhaps now it's ok. Is
EQ-12 available now?

I at least got it, it is part of CALF-git for some time now and it works
OK for me...

No, for some reason only the original plugins are available. Did you use
the --enable-experimental option?

If you like to join a social network it's our business. I never ever
will do. This kind of request and the replies belongs to the US users

Next time:
Could you please add the correct subject.
Cut unneeded quotes.
Use the "-- " signature mark just one time, for signatures only?
