Default dark GUI theme

Just curious, and I'm probably overlooking a readily settable preference
somewhere--but in the "dark" UbuntuStudio theme, with lots of charcoal
gray and black, the text of "grayed-out," or unavailable menu items is
whiter or brighter than the text of the available menu items. I got
used to this, but it seems counterintuitive, although I'm sure at least
some thought must've gone into the choice. Does anyone else think maybe
the theme's default lightness & darkness of menu items could/oughta be
swapped in a future release?
