Myabe You thinking, like me, about a Multi-Channel-In/Output - Mixer
like the Tascam FW 1884 ( unfortuaneletey not supported under Linux )...

You should ask to the companies, that you want to use their products on linux. Maybe they would give some help to the ffado team and alsa. I think we all suffer the same problem....

The Mackie Onyx firewire is 18in/2out , it works perfectly and is completely routable in jackd.
