SV: Upstart problems with cluster
With upstart you can not install mysql and disable that it starts, and then it is very difficult to let corosync control it.

What's needed is new MySQL RA that would use upstart functions stop, start, status, restart instead of relying on sysV init script. -- ubuntu-server mailing list ubuntu-server@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server More info: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ServerTeam |

Manually calling /etc/init.d/mysql start should still start mysql. -- Mathias Gug Ubuntu Developer http://www.ubuntu.com -- ubuntu-server mailing list ubuntu-server@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server More info: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ServerTeam |

For the longterm developing a generic upstart RA would be the best option. -- Mathias Gug Ubuntu Developer http://www.ubuntu.com -- ubuntu-server mailing list ubuntu-server@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server More info: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ServerTeam |
