I'm trying to file a bug against the server installer but I have no idea which
package to put it against. The bug occurs right after the partitioner runs.
Can anyone tell me which package represents the text-mode server installer?

Thanks. I wondered about that one but It said something about being "only
documentation" and I got scared off.

There are lots of packages that make up the installer, and it is a bit
of a maze.
File against debian-installer and we can try to sort it out.

You were correct in marking it a duplicate of Bug #277153, which has
been fixed. Interestingly, the bug/fix was actually in the mdadm
udeb.
