Default Automatic updates on Intrepid...

Hello everyone!

How is the "install-security-updates-automatically" option in the Intrepid installer working? If a security fix is implemented in a new kernel, will the new kernel also be automatically installed such as any other security related patch???

Kind regards

If I am not mistaking, this installs and configures the
unattended-upgrades package which will update any installed packages for
which a newer version is found in -security or -updates. It will not
reboot your system so new kernels will not be active until you do so.
