Hi,

thinkfinger package (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/thinkfinger) contains a nasty bug which makes it virtually impossible to use fingerprint (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/256429). There is a patch for that problem (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/256429/comments/83) and a test PPA with the fixed version (https://launchpad.net/~martin-meltin) which both work great. It would be great if someone could apply the working fix to the thinkfinger package in Lucid's repo. I'm writing this since MOTU people are listed as the maintainer for this package (https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/thinkfinger).
