Default REVU: foo-plugins 1.0-0ubuntu1 (New)

NEW: foo-plugins_1.0.orig.tar.gz
NEW: foo-plugins_1.0-0ubuntu1.diff.gz
NEW: foo-plugins_1.0-0ubuntu1.dsc

foo-plugins (1.0-0ubuntu1) jaunty; urgency=low

* Initial release (LP: #191998)

Your package contains new components which requires manual editing of
the override file. It is ok otherwise, so please be patient. New
packages are usually added to the overrides about once a week.

You may have gotten the distroseries wrong. If so, you may get warnings
above if files already exist in other distroseries.

Default REVU: foo-plugins 1.0-0ubuntu1 (New)

Is there an easy way that we can include a description of packages in
the REVU emails? I really like seeing what's new from REVU but I'm
always a little disappointed when I look at the email and I can't find
any idea of what the package is. Even the short description would be
nice.

I've always just forwarded the mail I got back from Soyuz. The
package descriptions are stuck inside the package. Do you think they
should be exposed in the .dsc or .changes files? Otherwise, it's a bit
of manual work for each uploader (mind you, it's perhaps a nice benefit
anyway, but still).

I miss package descriptions everywhere, on packages.ubuntu.com, on
launchpad.net's +source pages, on REVU, on DAD, MoM... Whenever you
grab a package to look at, it is really nice to see what it's for.
When I first met the foo-plugins package, I thought its name was a bad
joke.

That's a wonderful idea, and if that was done, it would be a small
step to include package descriptions in the webpages mentioned above!

Cheers,
Morten

The format of the file that gets sent out was recently changed. No reason
it couldn't be changed again.

I'd suggest filing a bug against LP. I agree having this would be nice.
