Hi,

the latest stable release of Kismet is 2 months old now and a lot more
wireless cards are supported. In the Ubuntu sources there is still
version 2007-01-R1. Please update to 2007-10-R1.

That version is available at Hardy. You should ask for a backport for gutsy..
