I thought it might be helpful if we were to have a bug checklist of
things to do with bug reports in any given state. Subsequently, Leann,
Pedro and I drew one[0] up. My thought is that this is something that
anyone could have at their side when triaging bug reports. So while
there are a phenomenal number of things that could be done to a bug
report our hope was to capture the most common ones.
Please try using it as you are working on bug reports and provide
feedback here or on the wiki page itself!

Looks pretty good. My only suggestion is that I'd like to see
clarification of cases where bugs should be closed as Invalid.

I think this is a good idea, though a flowchart representation might be
easier to follow. I recognize that wiki markup doesn't make this very easy,
though.

Excellent information there, Brian.
Two comments.
First, I'd suggest that Launchpad's "Help" tab in the top left corner
of bug pages point to this wiki page (perhaps among others regarding
bug-best-practices). The "Help" tab currently says, "Sorry, help
isn't available for this page."
Second, if that page gets any longer, I'd propose that each state get
its own wiki page, and use the current page to link to each of the
various state's pages.
Thanks!
