We received a freeze exception this week and uploaded the 3.5.0-17.28
kernel. This most notably contained some critical bug fixes for the
release:

* Bug:1061599 - beagle: omap3: usb is dead
* Bug:1021471 - clone() hang when creating new network namespace
* Bug:1030233 -not have bluetooth usb 0489:e046 Foxconn / Hon Hai
* Bug:717970 - After sleep, key presses get lost and trackpad is jittery

As usual, we also uploaded this kernel to the
ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/q-lts-backport PPA to facilitate testing of the
12.10 kernel in 12.04. Please test and let us know your results.

* Bug:994255 - bcmwl-kernel-source 5.100.82.38+bdcom-0ubuntu6.1: bcmwl kernel module failed to build [fatal error: asm/system.h: No such file or directory]

* Bug:1039402 - [quantal] overlayfs over r/o NFS mount fails to overwrite existing files
* Bug:1042213 - [quantal] Kernel oops with NFS mount
* Bug:1043338 - Second suspend reliably fails (nouveau)
* Bug:1043403 - Wireless not active during installation or after boot
* Bug:1044151 - Toshiba battery always reports 51% charged when fully charged
* Bug:1047527 - Dual-Role OTG device on non-HNP port - unable to enumerate USB device on port 1
* Bug:1051855 - Broadcom bluetooth device BCM20702A0 [0a5c:21f1] not supported
* Bug:1052064 - External USB hard disks are not seen when connected to docking station
* Bug:1052278 - [ASUS][X501U][X401U] Fn + F8 display mode switch hot key will switch the mode 2 times by one single key stroke
* Bug:1053897 - kernel does not boot without noefi on commandline
* Bug:1054129 - reboot with -vga cirrus can result in broken output
* Bug:1054732 - [LENOVO 4298R86] suspend/resume failure
* Bug:1055534 - [regression] since linux 3.4.0, kswapd0 uses 100% cpu

* Serializer performance enhancements (when libyaml is present)
* Format: 2 support for charms (which eliminates usage of python-only
formatting in favor of json)
