Default request for kernel patch

Hi,

I'm the developer of the ALSA driver for Native Instruments sound
hardware. Recently, I submitted a patch which fixes annoying freezes
of that driver: http://article.gmane.org/gmane.linux.alsa.devel/52464

As more and more people start using that hardware under Linux, I'd
like to see the patch included in the next Ubuntu release, especially
in the Studio edition. Is it possible you apply that patch in case it
doesn't make it to mainline in time?

Thanks and best regards,
Daniel
