Default Ubuntu 12.04 works but 11.04 doesn't with HP Elitebook 8560w

I have been successful in installing and booting up Ubuntu 12.04 on a HP Elitebook 8560w laptop.

However, my company needs to have Ubuntu 11.04 running on the HP Elitebook 8560w for
their Openstack requirements.

After installing Ubuntu 11.04, the laptop is not able to boot and seems to get stuck after the ethernet card shows up on the screen.

I believe their are driver issues for the Ethernet card and the Graphics card.

How can I troubleshoot the problem and get Ubuntu 11.04 to work like Ubuntu 12.04 ?

Can I use the working kernel and drivers from the Ubuntu 12.04 release and add them to the Ubuntu 11.04 release ?

I have a USB NIC and a Intel NIC.

1. *usb-ethernet driver 3-3:1.0: *eth1: register 'MOSCHIP usb-ethernet
driver' at USB-0000:26:00.0-3, MOSCHIP*7832/7882/7730*usb-NET adapter,
00:60:6e:4e:20:9d

usbcore: registered new interface driver MOSCHIP USB-ethernet driver

2. eth1: Intel Corporation 82579LM Gigabit Network Connection
E1000E Network card*

Thanks,
Mariano

Mariano,

Do you have a Launchpad bug number for this issue?
