Default installation of linux-image-extra-virtual

Hi,

I just installed -extra-virtual on EC2 by itself -- meaning
linux-image-virtual was already installed at this version.

the installation succeeded, but, at the end, I had the following lines:

Unpacking linux-image-extra-virtual (from .../linux-image-extra-virtual_3.0.0.14.16_amd64.deb) ...
Setting up linux-image-extra-3.0.0-14-virtual (3.0.0-14.23) ...
update-initramfs: deferring update (hook will be called later)
Setting up linux-image-extra-virtual (3.0.0.14.16) ...

but update-initramfs was NOT called.

Should it be? If so, I will open a bug.

Cheers,

..C..

I don't think so. This package is no different then LBM. It only needs
to do the depmod thing.
