Status of nasty bug #554172 ("system services using 'console output' not starting at boot")
As most people would recall, this kernel bug was covered up in Lucid and
Maverick (and Natty?) by applying a patch to upstart. What is happening
kernel-side these days?
And someone will remove the upstart patch if/when the fix is made in the
kernel?
