Analysis/breakdown of BIOS/ACPI errors found in kernel bugs by fwts
 

Hi there,

Thanks to the help from Brad Figg in collecting raw data from kernel
related
LP bugs I've run the data through fwts and categorised the output. I've
re-used
Brad's graphing and tables to generate some web-pages.

The first breaks down the errors found by fwts by error level:

The second breaks down errors by BIOS vendor, test, product, BIOS
revision.

Once one has drilled down to the bottom layer, one gets a table with
relevant data
and one can click through to the LaunchPad bug and to the error line in
the fwts log (you may need to scroll up a few lines to see more context
to understand the fwts error).

I can dice the data up many different ways, so feel free to suggest
different ways of
drilling down or collating the data sets.

I suspect I need to generate json like structured output from fwts to
allow me to
collate data better, but that's another iteration...
