before an lts i'd like to have initramfs-tools synced up
with ubuntu for the last fair share of fixes and new
features. current unstable state is good.
while merging you may want to look into sections
that have FIXME remove after lenny, ubuntu doesn't
those so can remove them straight.
also i'd like to be helpful and review the
ubuntu tarball before uplaod.
not yet merged waiting for the dpkg side merge
is on the debian side the trigger support.
i'd be happy to clean down our diff.
also the MODPROBE_OPTIONS usage should cut down the
overall line diff, aka ubuntu specific -Qb modprobe.
thanks for consideration, klibc has been rebased by Kamion.
