Default Lucid netboot installer and net be2net module

I have a report that the Lucid network installer will not deal with
devices requiring the be2net driver. Lucid media and Maverick media and
net install work fine. Can someone confirm this or should I just open a
bug on it? I've attached dmesg and lspci reports from a Maverick
install. Is this a case of a missing udeb?

remember what version of the kernel made it onto the 10.04.2 point release.


I'm a bit confused by your description. You say the 'Lucid network

media and Maverick media and net install' work fine, which is kind of
ambiguous (and contradictory to my mind).

Yeah, poorly worded.

"'Lucid media and Maverick media and net install' work fine" means

a) Lucid media works fine
b) Maverick media and net install work fine

There is an open bug on the issue but the media install was never tested:
