A regression has been discovered in the Maverick -proposed kernel which
affects some machines with Radeon graphics hardware.

The regression is caused by this commit:

Testing on one machine indicates that the problem may also exist in the
upstream stable release 2.6.35.10.

I'll investigate this further tomorrow, but wanted to let everyone know
what the status was.
