Default TRIM Support in Lucid

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1

Hello,

I was looking at the following LP bug:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/644694

I noticed the following for the 2.6.32.22 stable release:

* sata_mv: fix broken DSM/TRIM support (v2)

Does this suggest that TRIM is now supported for SSDs in Lucid?

Thanks,

Joe

If memory serves, the TRIM command was implemented at the block layer as
of 2.6.32, but was not used by any file systems until later versions of
the kernel.
