Weren't you complaining about how hot your laptop has been running?
Perhaps we should keep an eye on this one:

Since this has been affecting me I built a test maverick test kernel, in
hopes of better battery life next week.

It dropped my wakes to around 100, which seems to be helping out.

If anyone else wants to try it out you can grab it from
