Default Patch needed for acer travelmat 2440 users

Hi,

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/481765

This bug have a fix released status, the patch is an upstream patch, however it does not seem to be applied yet on upstream or on ubuntu kernel version.

I tested yesterday on my computer, and it works. So can you include it on your next kernel update release ?

It will be very helpful to start my computer ^^;

Thanks

Hello Guillaume,

usually patches need to be upstream to be considered for picking up. Though
a boot hang should be a reasonably good argument to take it sooner (the more
when it worked before). Though it won't be the next update as that is just
uploaded.
