ACK - you gotta love these hacks for buggy BIOS.

The patch order looks inverted, i.e., 1/3 is dependent on 2/3.

When cherry picking directly from Linus' repo, I've started using '-x'
so that I can tell at a glance from whence the commit originated. Also,
I'll add to the commit message a discussion of any resolution issues.

ACK as well. With support of what Andy and Tim said before (indication of
upstream reference and not to patch order). As this damaging I would think this
is useful for Hardy and Gutsy and should be ported there (at least Hardy as LTS
release).
