Adding it to a version number would be one thing, but you've added it to
the *package name*. Was this strictly necessary?

I hope that the binary package names produced by linux-meta won't
change; that would require changes in the installer and all sorts of
upgrade pain.

You're not the only one that doesn't understand the change in the
package naming scheme.

Amit, Ben - What does this have to do with kerneloops.org being able to
recognize our kernels?

Colin - Andy proposed a better way of introducing an Ubuntu signature
that supports kerneloops.org without having to change the package name.
Unfortunately, that change did not get implemented before I uploaded
2.6.28-2.2. I may upload again just for that fix before publishing
linux-meta.
