Location of edubuntu packages.

Any ideas how can I reinstall ubuntu from within kubuntu? I downloaded kubuntu cd and reinstalled and removed windows :-(. Now it turns out that it is incorrect CD . Location of edubuntu packages.
Just remove the 'deb cdrom' lines.
If you want Ubuntu, search for GNOME desktop in Synaptic. Install that and you will get Ubuntu. Just pick GNOME for your session before you login again. installed synaptic and running it right now per your guidelines. i really wonder after this if I will be able to put all children packages. Any suggestion?
