Location of edubuntu packages.
 

Thanks again.
Any ideas how can I reinstall ubuntu from within kubuntu? I downloaded
kubuntu cd and reinstalled and removed windows :-(.
Now it turns out that it is incorrect CD
.
Here is the difference in README.diskdefines ..

I tried reset in Adept but nothing happened.

I would prefer to start from scratch with the steps that are doable
from with in kubuntu (no more windows remaining on my system.

Location of edubuntu packages.
 

Just remove the 'deb cdrom' lines.

If you want Ubuntu, search for GNOME desktop in Synaptic. Install that
and you will get Ubuntu. Just pick GNOME for your session before you
login again.

For Edubuntu stuff, just search for Edubuntu in Synaptic.

ok..done.
installed synaptic and running it right now per your guidelines.
i really wonder after this if I will be able to put all children packages.
Any suggestion? I don't even know which one should be put..just
everything that can be useful to young ones (< 7yo)
