Translations module of Launchpad at
http://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/, where translation teams work
on making Ubuntu more useful in their language. If you want to change or
add to translations of these software, you can do so at
https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/gutsy/+source/gnome-volume-
manager and https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/gutsy/+source
/gnome-screensaver .

I've just downloaded the gnome-volume-manager translation tarball, and
it indeed seems the "Unsafe device removal" string isn't translated.

That probably means those translations arrived too late in the cycle
[1], after the translation deadlines [2]. GnomeScreensaver's "Leave
Message" feature was a last minute addition to the release, so that's
actually highly probable.
