Default sending replies to bug via e-mail

Hi all,
I remember few months back somebody asking about doing replies on bug
via e-mail and somebody had given a way although which required few
hoops before this could be done which kinda put me off to do the same.

Has the situation improved?

This may be apples to oranges but in Debian I just need to do
somebugnumber@debian.org and that's it.

Comments, suggestions all welcome

You mean this? https://help.launchpad.net/Bugs/EmailInterface. Seeing
as launchpad is requiring (almost) everything gets gpg signed, to put
onto launchpad, as that's how they seem to associate the sender with the
corresponding launchpad account, I doubt it will get "better" anytime
soon.

On the other hand, i'm not convinced that this is actually a problem -
people should sign mails, so that the receiving party (or any other who
it gets handed to) can check the authenticity of the mail. There are
various easy ways to set up pgp signing in clients, and even in gmail, I
believe.

Oh, and why *do* you have 7 lines (including the blank ones) of
signature, including a licence? Isn't that a little over the top? I
know various people were wondering about it from ubuntu-devel-discuss.
