Hi All,

I'm trying to upload my package to my PPA but I keep getting rejected.
I've sucessfully uploaded once but now when I upload I get one of
these bad boys,

Rejected:
MD5 sum of uploaded file does not match existing file in archive

Now, I'm assuming that this is a very common problem but I can't seem
to find any information on it. I know that you can't delete from the
PPA yet so I've tried changing the version to me-tv-X.Y.Z-0ubuntu2 but
I get the same error. I'm very sorry if this has been answered before
but I can't seem to find any information on it.

I had that error also one time. But for me, bumping the version in the changelog and re-doing the "debuild" was enough to fix it...

It does sound as though it's thinking you're trying to reupload the same version, for whatever reason, and it's saying it's different hence denying it. Have you been updating the version numbering properly inside of the deb as well es externally as you are in the file name?

Have you perhaps accidentally changed the .orig.tar.gz file in some
way? If the md5sum of the .orig.tar.gz of your new upload (seen in the
.dsc and .changes file) is not the same as for the one already in the
PPA I think you will get that error.
