Every bug report has a link labelled "Update description / tags" which
allows you to do just that. It is located below the bug's description
and above the first comment - if one exists.

Hi Javier,
Thanks for participating and for bringing up this subject.
When you want to edit something on Launchpad, look for the yellow
pencil icons. Whenever you see an icon like that in Launchpad,
clicking it will allow you to edit the item just next to it - that's
an idiom worth learning.
What were you missing on the page when you tried editing the bug? I'm
sure there are ways to improve the way Launchpad presents actions like
this to users.

I had no idea those were supposed to be pencils! I presumed they were
some kind of stylised exclamation mark!

I also wasn't aware that the editing icon was a pencil icon. I thought
it was something else.
I have to say, the pencil icon is probably the only that annoys me
about the new Launchpad interface. Perhaps the text "Edit" could be
placed next to the pencil symbol near the bug title, so that it would
be more visible. Editing bug descriptions is something that should be
encouraged.

Ah, how embarrassing. I'm sorry about this, I've reported it as a bug.
