Default Question re LTS versions

I see that kubuntu-8.04 is no longer an LTS release, presumably because of the
churn in kde.

Can anyone illuminate us with the LTS plans as they exist today?

Thanks.

Nothing's changed in the long term. Because
KDE4 is so very young and KDE3, while still in development today, will
start to depricate during the LTS timeframe, they're skipping LTS on
this release of Kubuntu. That changes nothing for the Gnome version,
nor does it mean that (projected) 9.10 won't be an LTS release.
