If you install the debugging application kdbg the system will collect
information and walk you through filing a bug. But this does take up
a lot more space as every KDE app needs to download and install it's
debugging package, but once that is done it is really easy to file
bugs.

I went an looked at your bug report, I edited it to reflect the proer program -
usb-creator-kde (which is actually a subset of the source package usb-creator,
which is what launchpad will show the bug for).
Bug reporting is not always straightforward, especially if the application
itself has no "report bug" link in its nonexistent Help menu.
