make package install work in the most basic sense
 

With these patches you can install packages. There is almost no
chance that repos on local media (cdrom/dvd/hd) will work, but
http has worked in my testing.

There's a patch here to automatically enable CLEARPART_TYPE_LINUX,
so be aware of that. If you're running this you have no business
complaining about such things.

Patch 3 is very rough. My next task is to streamline that so that
there is no need to do the full "find the repos" routine just to
reestablish the YumBase inside the real system root.
