AFAIK, these issues will be long, I had to migrate, temporarily I hope,
to Thunderbird, to get Gmail Imap and all my folders working.

This has been sad for me, I was using Kmail and Kontact since 2006...

If others are experiencing this problem read the bug comments - my
Contacts and Calendar now works. If it was solved "correctly" I have no
idea...
