Bruce,

I have install from a deb file, when you say to reinstall you neam
thru apdept manager, uninstall
firfox, then install again, when I am in k10.10mm I will send a copy
of the adept manager showing
installed firefox

If you installed from a .deb file, than firefox is most likely in /usr/bin/

As such, you should be able to execute it by just typing 'firefox' as a
command.
