Default Upgrading to KDE 4.5.3: alright to remove kdebase-workspace and friends?

After configuring the ppa:kubuntu-ppa repo, apt-get wants to remove
what look like major KDE components:

✈dcl:braindump$ sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

It's trying to remove kubuntu-desktop, which is usually a sign that
something is amiss. Could you see whether an apt-get update fixes
that, and if not, try using a different set of mirrors?

It seems a temporary issue -- read https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/670788

I had the issue (even removed the suggested) then after 1 hour did apt-get
update then all worked.
