You can (if you have a copy of your data! (Not on your harddisk, but an extern)) delete the system and try to install it again

My old computer finally gave up and I had to buy another.**I brought it
home and intstalled gutsey. don.t know what happened but it just
installed partially, with several error messages. How do i reinstall??

BTW the partioner worked flawlessly.
