What about using Kid3? I use it and I'm very happy.

That allows you to edit the id3 tags, I want to rename the *filename* of the
track based on the id3 tags.

Well, you can do this with Easytag as well, just use the inbuilt
scanner to change the criteria.
I wouldn't be surprised if one can do that with kid3 as well.

I use collection and organize files options of Amorak and i think it is perfect. You just insert tags of mp3 files, and tell how organize files and submit the Organize files. It do it for you.

Hi all,
Abdullah, please do not top-post in this mailing list, it makes
reading difficult.

But be careful with that, since it can also go awfully wrong, that
code is still not really well done and none of the devs has time to
improve that.
Make sure you have enough space in the destination folder and make
also sure that it doesn't overwrite the file extensions, since without
extensions your music will not play anymore.
I strongly suggest an external tagger and not to use the Organize Files dialog
JFYI, it has been removed from the 2.2.1 code for now, to make sure
people don't loose their data.
Regards, Myriam.
