KDE4.2-Update breaks kdeplasma-addons
Hi,
after installing the KDE 4.2 (intreprid) update from today the package kdeplasma-addons is broken. Aptitude wanted to uninstall it and after doing that many plasmoids stop working. When trying to install the 4.2 version of the package, aptitude wants to remove some packages and downgrade others: Entferne die folgenden Pakete: kate kdebase-workspace-bin ksysguard kubuntu-desktop libplasma3 Deaktualisieren der folgenden Pakete: kde-window-manager [4:4.2.1a-0ubuntu1~intrepid1 (intrepid, now) -> 4:4.1.4-0ubuntu1~intrepid3.1 (intrepid-updates, intrepid-security)] kdebase-plasma [4:4.2.1-0ubuntu1~intrepid1 (intrepid, now) -> 4:4.1.4-0ubuntu1~intrepid2 (intrepid-updates)] kdebase-workspace-data [4:4.2.1a-0ubuntu1~intrepid1 (intrepid, now) -> 4:4.1.4-0ubuntu1~intrepid3.1 (intrepid-updates, intrepid-security)] kdebase-workspace-libs4+5 [4:4.2.1a-0ubuntu1~intrepid1 (intrepid, now) -> 4:4.1.4-0ubuntu1~intrepid3.1 (intrepid-updates, intrepid-security)] kdeplasma-addons-data [4:4.2.1-0ubuntu1~intrepid1 (intrepid, now) -> 4:4.1.4-0ubuntu1~intrepid1 (intrepid-updates)] python-kde4 [4:4.2.0-0ubuntu1~intrepid~ppa2 (now) -> 4:4.1.4-0ubuntu1~intrepid1 (intrepid-updates)] Any ideas what I can do about that? regards, Rolf -- Cowardice asks the question, 'Is it safe?' Expediency asks the question, 'Is it politic?' Vanity asks the question, 'Is it popular?' But, conscience asks the question, 'Is it right?' And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular but one must take it because one's conscience tells one that it is right. — Martin Luther King, Jr. -- kubuntu-users mailing list kubuntu-users@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-users |

My guess is that the servers has not update all packages yet (same happened when KDE 4.2 was added to backports). Wait a day or so and I'm sure the rest of the KDE 4.2.1 packages will be updated on the servers. / Jonas -- kubuntu-users mailing list kubuntu-users@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-users |
