Default How to keep the file copy notification window open?

Hi List,
I think having a notification instead of a pop-up window opening to
indicate file copy progress is a very nice feature on KDE 4.2.
However, I would prefer to keep the progress indicator notification
window opened (instead of minimized and indicated by an icon in the
taskbar) until the copy is over. Is there an option to prevent it to
disappear until the operation finishes?

Thanks,
Vincent

I agree, I didn't realise for a while that the copy was still going on. What I've found is that if you click the 'i' to reopen the notification, the notification will stay open until the transfer finishes. Would be nice if it remembered that setting though...

Exactly! It could be even nicer (IMHO) if the notification window
would close by itself when the move/copy is over: in my tests, it
would stay open after the end of the transfer if I clicked the "i".

True, that would be nice. Haves anybody created this as a wish yet on
Launchpad?

I haven't got around to it yet, so feel free to do so (if it isn't already
there).

I wouldn't put it on launchpad, though. Put it as a wish on bugs.kde.org.
That's where the KDE developers will see it.
