QT 4.5 is out today!!!

QT 4.5 is out today. It is the basis of KDE 4. Their severs are
flooded at the moment but be sure to try out their new stuff, if you
want to write anything for any computer system (even MS and Apple)
especially KDE! Great for GUI, XML, SQL, PDF etc.

Be sure to check out QT Creator! It is really fun to work with but C++
only. The other great new thing is that they added a LGPL license.
There are also a bunch of other languages that it can be used with
like Python (pyQT).

No I don't work for them. Just a fan.

It should be noted that the main Plasma dev recently asked the
community to run KDE 4.2 on Qt 4.5 to work out the bugs.

Read one report that software runs 30% faster on 4.5 compared to 4.4.
That is like getting a new faster computer to replace your computer
from 3 years ago for free.
