Default SOLVED : Kmail starting outside Kontact bug

I seem to recall this was bugging a few people - Kmail auto starting external
of kontact on login.

Found the solution here :

looks/

The basic problem is krunner! By default the contacts plugin for krunner is
activated, which requires a running kmail *if* you are using the IMAP
resources in KMail.

If you disable contacts search in krunner the problem goes away.

I've had the opposite issue pretty much since the dawn of KDE3 - _if_
you're running kontact, you can't start kmail or any other component
independently, as kontact just swallows them.

The url is not working.
How do you disable krunner.
I like to only use kmail, and not the rest of kontakt.
Still avery boot the Korganiser reminderdeamon is loaded.

Because it was wrapped by email - but that's probably not the solution to to
your problem.

cd /usr/share/autostart
sudo mv korgac.desktop korgac.desktop.bak

Should do the trick
