Apologies for putting this under ubuntu-meta. I wasn't sure exactly
what package to use to file against the ISO itself.

The Kubuntu netbook images as of this morning (29 Sept) are > 800MB in
size, far bigger than a CD, breaking convention for Ubuntu CD size.

The Ubuntu netbook images, by comparison, remain < 700MB in size.

Not sure what this is about. We have no netbook ISOs in maverick. If
we did, we wouldn't care about them fitting on a CD, netbooks don't have
CD drives.

afaik, kubuntu netbook images are for USB drive and does not have 700MB limit.
