Subject: request for review of intrepid beta release announcement

Hi folks,

Please find below the draft announcement for the 8.04 beta. Comments,
fixes, and suggestions are all welcome.

I'm still in the process of fishing for highlights from the teams for the
variants; and the mirror list will need to be refreshed closer to the time
of the beta; but this is generally open for comments.

The canonical location of this draft as we incorporate fixes is on the wiki
at <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/IntrepidIbex/BetaAnnouncement>.

Thanks,

compromising security.

Ubuntu 8.10 server consolidates its support for virtualization with an
integrated Virtual Machine builder, and brings with it a fully-supported
Java stack and support for per-user directory encryption.
