Default installer changes.

Hi all.
Does anyone know if 8.04.1 wound up having this feature? the bug report
indicates the changes have been made.

This was always supposed to be the case, but a bug got in the way:


A set of fixes for this are now in hardy-proposed, and are likely to be
released with Ubuntu 8.04.1.

(Or, the short answer: yes.)
