AMD64 superkaramba fails - KDE-3.5.9
I just upgraded to KDE-3.5.9 and it went very smooth on my "x86" boxes but on AMD64 box I got stuck with
"superkaramba" Can anybody with AMD64 can comment on this error: collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[3]: *** [superkaramba] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/kde-base/superkaramba-3.5.9/work/superkaramba-3.5.9/superkaramba/src' make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/kde-base/superkaramba-3.5.9/work/superkaramba-3.5.9/superkaramba' make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/kde-base/superkaramba-3.5.9/work/superkaramba-3.5.9' make: *** [all] Error 2 * * ERROR: kde-base/superkaramba-3.5.9 failed. * Call stack: * ebuild.sh, line 49: Called src_compile * environment, line 4289: Called kde-meta_src_compile * environment, line 2942: Called kde_src_compile * environment, line 3107: Called kde_src_compile 'src_compile' * environment, line 3227: Called kde_src_compile 'src_compile' 'all' 'myconf' * environment, line 3223: Called die * The specific snippet of code: * emake || die "died running emake, $FUNCNAME:make" * The die message: * died running emake, kde_src_compile:make I'm using: Portage 2.1.4.4 (default/linux/amd64/2008.0/desktop gcc-4.1.2, glibc-2.6.1-r0, 2.6.24-gentoo-r3 x86_64) Without "superkaramba" I can not run "emerge --depclean" -- #Joseph GPG KeyID: ED0E1FB7 -- gentoo-user@lists.gentoo.org mailing list |

It should be some lines above the ones you posted. > I'm using: > Portage 2.1.4.4 (default/linux/amd64/2008.0/desktop gcc-4.1.2, > glibc-2.6.1-r0, 2.6.24-gentoo-r3 x86_64) > > Without "superkaramba" I can not run "emerge --depclean" Does that mean you do not even want it? emerge -Ca superkaramba should remove it then, and unless emerge -uDNa world does not put it back in (which I doubt), emerge --depclean should work. But show us the error first, maybe we can give a real solution then. Wonko -- gentoo-user@lists.gentoo.org mailing list |
