Rather than more things in scripts/, can we start a test/ to put stuff like
this in?

scripts/ has things we use for development and things used by releng, which
could probably be split.

I know this deviates from the current make check which uses an rc file rather
then cmdline options, but I prefer using cmdline options as that better shows
where we are deviating from upstream defaults.

Yeah, that's ifne. You used to have to do things via the config file;
command line options are clearly more better.

Also want to adjust the make check target and remove the old rc file?

Yes I will do that when all needed bits are in place (such as the pyblock patch
to not make pyblock error out when used as a non root user.

Hans

Hmm, yes a test or rather a tests directory seems like a good idea.
