Hi, I would like to know, if there is any documentation about the new 2008.0 profile and also for the new minimal CD and the Universal CD.

There a lot of threads on this list about new features, but there is no summary of all the changes that will occur.

For the most part, the only things that have changed are the "openness" of the
release process (like the public meeting, the beta, and a few other things) and
a few new packages will be added to the Live{CD,DVD}. Aside from that, the
release should consist of the same stuff that 2007.0 did (updated versions, of
course).

Hi, my name is Claudio, i am Italian. I would to partecipe to developing the Live Cd of Gentoo..
So have more friend italian.. but prefer to install che distro with CD live 700mb and not netinstall (More difficult ^_^)
