wxGTK and wxpython
What's the difference between wxGTK and wxpython? It appears that the
former duplicates the latter, or is a superset of it. Does one need both of these to do wxpython programming? -- Lindsay Haisley | "In an open world, | PGP public key FMP Computer Services | who needs Windows | available at 512-259-1190 | or Gates" | http://pubkeys.fmp.com http://www.fmp.com | | -- gentoo-desktop@lists.gentoo.org mailing list |

I think wxGTK is the basic wxWidgets library that hooks into the GTK toolkit. wxpython is Python bindings to wxGTK, and if you emerge wxpython, it should bring in wxGTK if that's not already installed. -- gentoo-desktop@lists.gentoo.org mailing list |
