Default eselect opengl

using prefix on amd64-freebsd with nvidia proprietary drivers.
eselect-opengl only lists xorg. i have VIDEO_CARDS="nvidia", i recall
that being masked in the profile (booted to linux now).

is there a reason for the mask, i thought some apps like mplayer used that flag ?

is it possible to have opengl set to use the proprietary nvidia drivers
for freebsd, maybe mint after i get that installed?

and i have prefix on fedora12 using nouveau, so that will have to be using
xorg.
